We treat

In our Clinic, we offer consultation services and hospitalisation for patients with the following disorders:

  • Mood disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Schizophrenic spectrum disorders (schizophrenia, schizotypal and delirium disorders, schizoaffective disorders)
  • Somatoform disorders
  • Eating disorders
  • Personality and behavioural disorders
  • Disorders of psychological development
  • Behavioural and emotional disorders beginning in childhood and adolescence
  • Mental disorders caused by organic lesions (trauma, cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy, dementia)
  • Mental and behavioural disorders caused by addiction to alcohol, narcotics, medicines (counselling, detoxification, substitution maintenance therapy, pharmaceutical treatment of alcohol abuse with long-acting medicines)

For persons with a physician’s referral and compulsory health insurance, part of the costs of medical services provided in the hospital will be compensated from the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund budget through the Territorial Health Insurance Funds (THIF). For patients who incur other medical conditions during treatment in our Clinic, consultations in the Kardiolita private hospital and polyclinic are available.

 

Dear patients and visitors to the Ąžuolyno Clinic,
We suggest that you familiarise yourself with the following information useful for you and your relatives:

  1. Patient visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  2. Please be advised that the patients in the clinic receive three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Please bring the patients only a limited amount of additional food with a long expiry time.
  3. Bringing alcoholic beverages, tobacco, cigarettes and narcotics to the clinic is prohibited. Please be advised that Ąžuolyno Clinic observes the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania (3 May 2004, No. V-311; IV. GENERAL PROVISIONS; 6. Smoking is prohibited in all educational institutions, health care institutions and their areas, Internet cafes (Internet clubs, etc.), as well as in closed premises where sports competitions and other events are held [4.3]).
  4. Scientists have reliably proven that excessive use of mobile phones and personal computers has a direct impact on the occurrence of serious mental disorders, and, in order to ensure the patients’ more rapid recovery, the clinic strictly limits the use of these means of communication to certain hours (from 10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., from 3.45 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. and from 8.00 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
  5. We recommend not leaving valuables and documents with the patient. They should be given for storage to the administration of the in-patient department of the Clinic.
  6. Please be advised that patients should leave Ąžuolyno Clinic before 12 noon on the discharge day. For your convenience, however, it is possible for a patient to be discharged later than at 12 noon (for more information please call: +370 699 55656).
